Jason Sudeikis has not ruled out continuing "Ted Lasso" beyond Season 4, despite initially believing the Apple TV+ comedy would conclude with Season 3. The show's co-creator discussed the possibility of Seasons 5 and 6 during an appearance on the podcast Talk Easy with Sam Fragoso.
Sudeikis expressed openness to future installments, stating he "would like to" do more seasons. His comments suggest the door remains open for the show to extend beyond its current run, though no formal renewal announcement has been made.
The series has already defied Sudeikis' original expectations by continuing into a fourth season. The show, which follows an American football coach hired to manage a struggling English soccer team, has become one of Apple TV Plus' marquee programs since its 2020 debut.
Sudeikis' remarks come as fans await clarity on the show's future direction following the recently completed fourth season.
