Sanjay Gupta, an Indian filmmaker known for directing the crime thriller "Kaante," the gangster saga "Shootout at Wadala," and "Kaabil" starring Hrithik Roshan, died on Oct. 30 following a fall at his Mumbai residence. He was 59, according to the Press Trust of India. Director Milap Zaveri, a longtime friend, worked with Gupta on projects during his career.
