Saturday Night Live paid tribute to Patrick Stewart on this weekend's episode, playing an archive clip from his 1994 appearance as host. The clip showed Stewart introducing musical guest Salt-N-Pepa. SNL also displayed a promo photo from that episode.
Stewart, a three-time Oscar nominee and star of X-Men and Star Trek: The Next Generation, died Wednesday at age 86 at his Los Angeles home, with his wife Sunny Ozell present.
